The day started rough with last weeks starting pitcher Brady walking in two runs with no outs in the first.  In came twin brother Bryant to finish the inning and the Hurricanes down 2-5 after the first.  Solid defense by the Hurricanes with the infield and outfield backing up Bryant the next couple of innings before Big Will came in with a clutch 3 run double.  Bryant would try to finish the last inning but found himself in trouble giving up two runs and leaving the bases loaded with no outs.  Big Will would enter the game in relief, strikes out the next three batters, giving the Hurricanes the 11-9 win in three innings.

This brings the Hurricanes record to 1-2 in Springfield mid-summer league and 11-17 overall.
